Painted Pines Ranch is nestled in the rolling hills of Southwest Iowa. Our horses thrive on rich    green summer grasses. They  winter graze  on large stock fields to keep them conditioned and in excellent health. This is a great way to keep them in shape as they near their foaling dates. Our breeding  program is designed  to give birth to top quality paint and quarter horses. Our goal is to raise talented, good minded  horses with the ability to stand out in a crowd.
We hand select our mares for their quality and their bloodlines.  We believe they are the foundation of a good breeding program.  Our girls have pleasing, willing dispositions, correct conformation, and outstanding pedigrees.  World class stallions are individually  approved for their ability to complement each mare. Our planning results in our exceptional foals. Our foals come into this world with a human's guiding touch. They display dynamic and willing dispositions,  correct conformation and athletic ability. The fact that they are always gorgeous in color is an added bonus. We raise them with love, discipline, plenty of exercise and good nutrition.
